So, Yui(have you checked out her latest post for the Cutlers? Not a chapter but a preview pic! She makes me sick with her set building skills! And I told her as much!:P) brought it to my attention that this guy looked vaguely familiar to her!

When I was in CAS I wasn't even thinking about RG. Okay, I was but only cause an idea came to me for the next chapter but that's all! It does sorta TS3~ishly look like him huh? Especially because of the pose! GAH!! LOL!!

Summary Post (Rough draft)

Ravensworth Generations is meant to follow the life of the Ravensworths family. I had in mind the vague notion of a legacy type story but as I started writing, the story evolved into something else entirely. The first generation revolves around following Kaylee Ravensworth as she deals with a mother who eventually abandons her during her senior year of high school. She discovers that her father was murdered and has to come to terms with that as well as a mother who is as fickle as a summer breeze. Not only does Kaylee have to learn to survive on her own but she also has to deal with the rocky road to love.

Reuniting with her first love, Ty, in college everything is going smoothly until her mother, Janet, once again resurfaces and threatens everything once again. With the help of her boyfriend's family, Damon and Frances, Kaylee is able to realize her dream of finishing school and lands her dream job at a very prestigious bio-aquarium on a small island called Serenity Cove.

In Serenity Cove everything isn't what it appears. Kaylee has to deal with learning that they are hidden aliens that call the small island their home, more Janet drama, finding out she was hired with a sinister purpose in mind all while coming to terms with the fact of impending motherhood. Ty is steadfast in his love for her but she still has insecurities. She wasn't brought up with the shining example like he was. Ty befriends Karrick, one of the aliens who are called R'ouglians, and they form a strong bond. A bond that is almost torn about when Ty learns Karrick is fated to marry his child.

This story has a little bit of something for everyone. Romance, drama, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery and murder all make for the first generation of the Ravensworth Legacy.

Okay, this as good a place as any to post this. Especially considering that I rarely write in here anymore so hopefully no one else remembers it!(Even if they do this will make no sense so don't bother trying to decipher! LOL!) My sis said that I need to write my thoughts down when doing chapters for RG( I think she said this so I could put out more chapters! LOL!!) but I never really have any set idea for writing when I do any of my stories. I have the beginnings and the endings but that's about all. Anywho...for the upcoming chapter(probablyin two or three weeks since I have to build) it'll be about Karrick's past. Considering that's where his spirit is now residing. About three hundred years in the past to be exact. Now...what are some of the things that I want to be in upcoming chapters?

I want to introduce Karrick as he was before he landed on Earth. Just who is Karrick K'tari and how was he?
Input some of the R'ouglian history as well. I have to tie this in because the history will be brought into the future when he finally realizes who is his hearts mate.
How do I introduce Karrick's baggage? I don't want to thow so much into one chapter nor do I want to make this three or four chapters. Maybe 2?
And do I want to reveal who his hearts mate is now or wait when I do the jump for the next generation?
Set building! Can I just say that I am not the best at that sort of thing but I can see R'ougla in my mind. I always could. Now if I could just get a little of that to show in the game I'll be happy. My downloads folder hates me but ah well!
Speaking of the jump...I already spoke to my sister about this(she's sorta, kinda my editor(she just doesn't know it)) and I kinda know what I want to do but I need to ask my readers which way they think would be simpler for them(also new readers as well. I don't want them to feel overwhelmed if they happen to stumble across RG and see eighty plus chapters. Ugh!)
And I know there will be a few deaths at the end of the first generation of this story. Now, do I want to do a clean break or have some characters lingering? I hate the whole dragging out a plot thing for years! That's why I hate soaps. And if I wanted total drama I'd turn on the news! HOWEVER, there's never really clean breaks and my sis said I have a tendency to be realistic with the stories so I guess I'll keep doing what I'm doing. Hrmm...yeah, that might work.

Sooooo....I started another blog which can be found here. It's just pictures and things that don't fit anywhere in my stories and/or pictures of the 'Play Family' as I call them. They're the ones I play test houses that Simcere needs tested to make everything is alright. That reminds me:

1)Doors in upstairs bathroom need to be moved. When a Sim sits on the toilet they're half in and out the door.

That's pretty much the only thing I've found with this house! It's freaking amazing. A wonderful beach house! It's HUGE so it makes it perfect for large families!

Anyways, I digress! I'm getting tired of using pose boxes! Seriously! I spend more time setting up poses than anything nowadays which sucks but I NEED the pose boxes! LOL! It's a love/hate thing going on here. I can't be the only one who feels that way can I? Man, I should probably get some sleep but I don't have to go to work until later tonight soooo...

That's my girl Cherie's Jayden. He can be found here in her story and he's going to appear in about two chapters in mine. I'm so glad she let me borrow him. Which reminds me she never told me who she wanted me to package for her!! *slaps forehead*

Also, I'm not sure about that lighting mod yet...sometimes I love it, other times I'm like *shrug*

Why do I never post in this? Huh! Anyways, I'm chillin here at work and I was thinking...it always amazes me what goes on behind the scenes here that never ends up in the paper. Like for instance when that soldier barricaded himself in his house with all kinds of guns and had to be talked out. Everything went fine but at the same time...there was a sniper on the roof of the next house just in case he came out acting crazy. Did that end up in the paper? No because it happened without incident and newspapers are all about sensationalism right?

What about the time the guy shot himself right in front of his friend and had to be airlifted to the hospital. Did that make the paper? Nope, because the guy sucked at sucide and he's going to pull through. He'll probably be a vegetable but he'll be alive so no story there.

Which brings me to my point. When did newspapers become tabolids? Don't get me wrong. I love a good gossip fest as much as the next person!(Hello, I have People.com bookmarked!) But newspapers are supposed to be about things that are going on in your city/town/hood...not what's happening three thousand miles away with the latest award show. *sigh*

Maybe I'm just getting tired of everything being soooo...geared toward celebrities and what not! I'm tired about hearing about that stupid lady who had eight kids. I'm tired of hearing about Chris Brown and Rhianna, I'm tired of hearing about what Mrs. Obama is wearing(and that woman can dress)...I just want some NEWS!!!

Yes, I'm off!! Then what am I doing up you ask? Yeah...good question! :P

Mom has a doc appointment today and I always try to go with her when I can. Just a general check up to make sure that the chemo did its job and there's no lingering cancer cells about! So far so good! About every six months she has to take this test and get blood work and all that good stuff!

We both take our MP3 players. I watch movies/listen to books and she listens to music or reads! OR sometimes we each have a earbud and we'll watch movies on my MP3 player together! Good times, good times. She says its girl time since my schedule is so weird she never really seems me and when I am home I'm in my room because I can't stand my stepdad yelling at the bros but for no apparent reason other than he had a crappy day. It reminds me too much of my biological dad and makes me want to SCREAM!!!

So, we'll probably got to IHOP or some place afterwards(since she hasn't eaten since yesterday and because that's just what we do) then back home and chill before everyone gets home.

Also my boy is supposed to stop by later. I can't really get on post and since he's in town he said he'd swing by and see me. I miss him like crazy and he said the same! We're such dorks but that's what friends are right? But he's WAY dorkier! Anyways, I just finished washing my hair...gonna let it air dry for a bit more before I moisturize and then pick this little 'fro out! Of course I'm going to stuff it under a wig but...*shrug* At least it'll look pretty under there!:P

Man, I wish I had a no-cd crack for my Sims game! No, not for cheating or anything like that(or whatever you can do with a no-cd crack) but so that I could listen to music while I sim. I don't have a dual disk driver(although I could...hmmm) but right NOW I don't and it sucks because listening to music gives me ideas while I'm playing/storytelling. *sigh* Perhaps another upgrade for another time.

Ohhh...

Dude, I got a new monitor. Well, I didn't get it YET because I order it offa amazon.com(can you say LOVE? That place is freaking AMAZZZING!) so I have to wait for it to get here but since I'm an amazon prime member(which really saves me money as much as I hate going out to shop) I get it in two days for no shipping cost! Holla!! Boo-ya!!<~~(Man, I miss watching Teen Titans...is that even on anymore? Cyborg was my fav! Him and Beast Boy...anyways, I digress). So, I get the monitor on Tuesday night since I work mids that day! It's a 22 inch widescreen Acer monitor. Never heard of the brand but it wasn't terrible expensive and the brand as a whole had good reviews because yes, I do research and compare and all that good stuff! So, along with my old tower my mom will get this monitor and the bros will get the computer she brought like three months ago! A HUGE upgrade from the one they're working with now! That thing is like seven or eight years old. I remember using it for school stuff! O_o Wait...so it has to be older than that! Daaaannnggg!!

On a Sim note I have the next two chapters ready for posting I'm just being lazy because when I put those out it means I have to go back in and shoot some more which isn't bad since I already have ideas for the next three chapters! Bwahahaha!!

I really need to update this more....yeah, just like I update my lj right? Riiiiiiiiight!!

Okay, she's evil! LOL! I called her to make sure of flight stuff and she goes: "Cheryl, I got some bad news." And she whispers this right? And I'm like no, something happened to the baby! And she goes, "Maleeya(my niece) has an ear infection and the doc doesn't want her to fly!" And my heart drops! Not for me but because my mom wants to see her ONLY grandchild soooo stinking badly and the whole point of this surprise is to that my mom will see her!

Of course my sis was LYING but she did get my good! LOL! Anyways, they'll probably be pics posted here!:) Good times right?! Ohhh...also I was in the shower and I believe I have a good premise for another story! We'll see how that goes yes?!:P

So, I got me new phone right?! And I'm LOVING it! I'm on the Verizon network and have been for years! It's called the Dare and it's one of those touch screen phones that I SWORE I wasn't going to get but...it's just awesome! LOL! I'm such a phone whore! I'm sure in about six months or so I'll be complaining about this phone being OLD! :P I can't help myself but it's not like I can get another phone for another two years!

Anyways...I've just been fiddling with that and hanging out with the fam! Ohhhh yeah! My sis is going to sneak down this way with my niece for a week or so before Christmas! I'm the only one that knows! My mom is going to cry! I can feel it! LOL! But it'll be happy tears!

Alright, I'm going to head to bed...maybe! I got work tomorrow and then off Sunday and then...I go to mids which means 2p-10p! Grr...ruins a perfectly good day doesn't it?! I'm on that schedule for a good two months with little variation!:( And if I do it's the morning shift! I LOVED working nights but noooooo....I can't get them because I'm still in my trainging period and they want me to LEARN!!! LOL!! Alright, I'm out!

Fraps is giving me fits! I'll have the perfect shot set up, take a couple of frames and then progess on only to realize once I go back and look at my pics to edit that...FRAPS WASN'T TAKING MY PICS!!! Grrr!! So, it's a slow progression because then I have to go back in, undo what I do to move the story along and start all over again! *sigh*

So, there will be an update this week! Don't think there won't! Hopefully tomorrow! If not tomorrow then possibly the day after. Although since that is Thanksgiving I might not even get a chance to boot up the computer! *groan* But...there will be an update! LOL!!

Double Post

I hadn't intended to put...I figured I left y'all with a cliff hanger and I'm ready to move Kaylee and Ty into the custom hood I created so I have to go into SimPe and all of that! I hope y'all enjoyed Kaylee's college years! I went through the whole thing without using the college adjuster! *groan* It drrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaggggggged!! Let me tell you! LOL! Y'all that have Uni know!

Anyways...working on getting everything moved and intact so hopefully everything goes smoothly.

Ummm...could y'all tell that the Ty and Kaylee at the end of Ch.10 weren't the originals? I had graduated them and went out of the game to do screenshots when I realized that Fraps wasn't working for me! So, I had to go back in and recreate them! Hopefully you can't tell! LOL!!

Just finished the long and tortous process of reinstalling the Sims 2 to this computer. Since I have all the EPs and SPs it took roughly over two hours of sitting there watching the bar move. It probably would have taken ALOT less but for some reason my AL didn't wan to install. Kept getting an error(first time that's happened to me) and I was flipping out before I remembered that I still had all of that backed up on my old computer. Plugged that in, installed to my external and bada bing! It was a wrap! YAY! Now, I have to see if my Kaylee and Ty made the move with me or if I'm going to have to extract them from my old computer and put them in this one! Have to remember where the saved game files are! Hmmm..

Going to go take a look @ SimPe right now! Maybe I'll even get to PLAY sometime soon! LOL!!

Well...it looks as if...I have all my saved games in the new computer!! WOOT!! Woot! First I was hella confused but after I googled(the internet is my friend) and researched I figured it out! haha!! Cool! Now I'm going to go in game and see if there is any borkiness going on!

Got my new computer up and running! Don't have my game intalled on it yet...I have to extract some of the characters with simpe and still am kinda confused on how to do it! *sigh* This keyboard is kinda funky! I'm not used to it being all flat and...soft. LOL! Anyways...I saw the FedEx truck as I was driving and I thought darn it I JUST missed them but...no...he turns on the road ahead of me and I'm all like YAY!!! Just in time! Haha! New graphics card was already on the porch(how'd UPS come so early I don't know!) but I spent a good two hours making sure everything was configured so I wouldn't have to send it back!

New computer=bliss! Now, I'm going to bed becase I've had a headache for the last two days! And no, not going to the doctor! I dislike docs. I have no idea why they just make me extremely uncomfortable....hmmm...just thought of something for my story! Bed! Now Cheryl! Aaaaand....

Tower and graphics card!

Okay, I'm supposed to get my tower and new graphics card tomorrow but I'm thinking, because I have to work, I probably won't get the tower for a couple of days unless I leave a note for them to leave it on the porch! But I don't wanna do that because we have some hoods that are always trying to steal people's stuff and I'd be HOT like that if I came home, looked on the internet to track it and found it had been delivered!! Grrrr!!!

I'll probably get the graphics card though. UPS cames later than FedEx(tower) but one isn't any good without the other! LOL!! *sigh* Oh well! Cross your fingers for me...maybe FedEx will be late! Bwahaha!!!

I had to calm down before I posted this. I think this post will show how TRULY ignorant people are. I come from a military family. Great-grandpas, uncles, aunts, biological father...MOTHER, cousins, friends! So, while I might not agree with the war I still respect our troops. So, why in the HELL would you hang a flag upside down and/or at high mast because your candidate didn't win? Seriously, are you that mental that you don't really how disrespectful that is, not only to American but to your candidate who was a POW?!I received several calls about this at work and it just pissed me off. And then when I hear jokes that border on racist about Obama it makes me realize that this country STILL has a long way to go. We may have a black man in the white house(who happens to be half white which people conveniently seem to forget) but we still have alot of 1800 mindsets. It makes me sick.Have you ever walked into a room and been the minority? Have you ever had someone call you outside your name because of the color of your skin? Have you ever heard the thinly veiled insults about your race being uneducated, on welfare, waiting for a governement hand out? God, it just makes me want to vomit and wonder, truly wonder, when this will all end.And it's just not blacks that are still hated on. Asians, hispanics, Indians....I've heard all the jokes and sometimes wonder why I'm not the only one laughing. I get it! It's a joke! Hahaha! But you don't make a joke on a person's trials. Unless you've had to face them yourself.So, for all you die hard 'Americans' out there who voted for McCain and are not disrespecting what he stood for, still STANDS for, I guess you're showing us how you really feel huh? You're taking your stance for your politician...not for your country.It hurts...but then I remember where I am. I might be near a military base but I'm still in the good ol' boy south.I just don't understand.And the number one thing that keeps popping up as to why people didn't vote for Obama? He's a Muslim! Uh...yeah! And? So, what you're saying is one religion is ALL WRONG because of some muslim radicals! Right, right! So, because his mom enrolled him in that school, because his father and stepfather were Muslim he's associated with that religion. Umm...how many of us were forced to go to a church?! I know I was. My family has dabbled in several religions. Trying to find the right fit. I have an uncle who is Muslim and he is as disgusted by all the radical muslims out there giving a religion a bad name. I've sat down and talked to him about it and it hurts him to be judged because of his religion instead of who he is...So, I'm guessing all Christians are bad too because of the slaughtering they did back in Bible times? When you have people outside your country wishing that one candidate will when and they can't even vote. When they're crying and sobbing because that candidate won...what's wrong with the mind set of Americans?I'm just feed up with all the bullshit.

Ya know what I just realized? With my new computer(once it comes back from HP for repairs) I can actually play the Sims 3!!! What, what!!!! LOL! Not saying I'm going to get it! So far it doesn't look like something I want to play...although the free roaming is enough to just test it out...*sigh* I probably will get it! LOL! But not when it first comes out...I wanna see the reviews and stuff before I spend hard earned money on something that might tear my computer up! Sooo...

Gah! Did I tell you the drama with Best Buy?! Suffice to say I will NOT go back to best buy thanks to their ridiculous warranty policy when I had ASKED them a specific question and was told that of course I could put my own graphics card in. When I turned on the computer THE NEXT DAY and it didn't work and I called them to ask about it they said to bring it in. So, I did only to be told that because I opened the case it voided my warranty! Motherfu-

Me: So, what you're telling me, I asked in a really quiet voice(not normal for me since I'm usually hype) is that I spent over seven hundred dollars in here yesterday and you can't do anything?

Geek Squad: Umm...yes ma'am. We can fix it if you want. We-

Me: How much will that cost me?

Geek freakin' Squad: Well, an eight four dollar deposit plus whatever the part cost. Did you-

Me: Put my tower back in the box.

GRRRR!!!! So, I took it to another shop(because I knew it was the motherboard but I needed to verify and I was right and they tried to help me which means I will go back to them again over Best Buy. So, I called HP aaaaand....

They're gonna fedex me a box so I can ship the tower and repair it FREE OF CHARGE!!! WOOT!! Hahaha! So...I'm happy but on the other hand I'm pissed at best buy! I'll never go back there again!

And that is my rant for the day! LOL!

Alright, okay! I think I FINALLY have everything back to the way it should be for my game! See, I got a new computer yesterday(which CRASHED but that's a WHOLE nother story) so I took everything offa this computer so I could give it to me mom! Yeah....I had to reinstall everything back so I could get my story out tomorrow! Then...my hoods didn't want to load and it kept giving me the option for just one custom hood. I needed Uni but then when I went into my hard drive and pulled the Pleasantview hood file Kaylee was still a TEEN!!! Nooooo!! Right?! Come to find out that I placed both neighborhoods(new and old) in the same space! So, I finally found the right one and am now off to play!!:P

Alright, I figured it out this morning before I headed to work. Ya know, the thing about my pics?! For some reason, and I swear it's never done that before, they had a height and width in my html code. I had to delete that to get my bigger pics! Whew! For a minute I thought I was gonna be stuck w/ the small ones!

My bro's ex girlfriend called me @ work today wanting to know if I could run my bro's license for her to see if it was suspended!! Hello?!!! I LIKE my job! Why would I want to get fired for doing something stupid?! Huh? Huh!?! LOL! Idiot!

Right now I have the house to myself. The calm before the storm! Haha! With three lil bros, my mom and stepdad it's always kinda hectic. I still have to adjust being in the house with someone else since I've been out on my own! *sigh*

For some reason the pics in my blog are smaller than normal and I did everything like I normal do! Hmm...right?! Right! I'll be fiddling with that tomorrow! I don't have the patience tonight!

Went and did early voting today! Woot!! I wasn't all that excited about it really! LOL! I just wanted to stay around mope. One of my babies died yesterday! I had three guinea pigs when I moved down here from Indiana. If I would have known that they would have to stay outside I wouldn't have brought them with me. :(

So, that's the reason for the delay in the posting of the Ravensworth Generations. I just couldn't focus but I still couldn't decide which way I was going to go until I came back from voting so then I had to re-reshoot! LOL! So now I have a ton of pics I'm doing nothing with because I want to move on to college but...ya never know right?! Haha!

Anyways, I gotta be into work by a quarter to six tomorrow for briefing so I think I'ma go to bed! Later!

Woo hoo!! Offa work and ready to go to sleep once the fam leaves! LOL! BLOOPERS!!

This was my first photo shoot! I built a crappy house and kept taking down and putting up walls so that I would always have a "room" to shoot in! Aaaand...there goes some of my hack boxes!

Kaylee did this EVERY time she saw Janet with a guy! LOL!! Why do you think I had her outside for those shots! It was hilarious!

Yeah, I didn't mean for her to fall like that! And Kaylee didn't help the situation! Her mouth was just gaping open! Haha!

And this is when I realized Janet really was a drunk! Note where she's looking...

Ohhhh...Kaylee did this when she wasn't gagging. She had walked around the corner and saw Janet and a guy in a *cough* intimate moment and this occurred!

And this pic kinda made me decide that Janet had to leave. They had just arrived @ their new place and there was the welcome wagon...and this is Janet's first reaction!

I finally got this thing up and running! I've spent the last couple of hours in front of the computer(I did take a break to watch the new family guy! LOL!!) trying to configure this and this. Kaylee's diary is irritating me because it doesn't want to work right so I have to go in and fiddle with the codes or else scrape that template and get another...but I don't wanna because I REALLY like that one! LOL!! So, I guess I'm going to be scouring the web trying to figure out just how to fix it! Grrrr!!!

Man, I should probably go to bed some time soon but seeing as how I don't have to go to work until tomorrow night(WOOT!!) I don't want to waste staying up! LOL!! I know, I know! I sound like a kid but darn it I've been crashing early for the last few nights and it just isn't right! Not right at all!:P

Monday and Tuesday I work and then I'm off for two glorious days!! Haha!! Good times! Thursday I'm glad I'm off so I can go with my mom to her doctor's appointment! Hopefully all that chemo was good for something besides making her sick and it got rid of all the cancer so she won't have to go through that again!

Okay, I had to put that pic in because 1)I love my family and I have to brag and 2)I love my family and I have to brag! LOL!! That's my mom, my sis and my niece. My mom's one and only grandchild! Can't you tell by the kool-aide smile!?! :P Adorable right?! Yeah well, I don't intend on having kids so she's going to stay adorable and spoiled! Bwahahaha!!

I'm a single, 26 year old female who loves to play the Sims 2. I've only been playing the Sims 2 for about five months now and I'm learning all kinds of wonderful things about it!:)
Aside from the Sims 2 I love to read, write, listen to music and hang out with friends and family. I'm a pretty simple person who likes to surround myself with like minded people.
I started to write Ravensworth Generations after I saw the numerous legacy "stories" out there. I'm not knocking those stories it's just that I don't think commentary equates a story. 100 Days of Sorrow really inspired me. Like I said I always loved to write and this just combines two loves. I hope that everyone is enjoying reading it. I know that I'm enjoying writing it!
